Feb 21 Tournament at Washington Tech off Rice in St paul. Registration is at 8:30 Should be done around 3:30. See schoolchess.org for more details. Let's have a big turnout.
Bring lunch or $5 for lunch. They have pizza, hot dogs, pop, fruit, cookies etc. for sale there.
Play five games against children in the same grade. (8th grade may only have 4 games)

Twin Cities Junior High League Chess Results

For results from the Twin Cities Junior High League Chess matches, click on the Jr High League link in the upper right-hand corner.

Although we didn't fare well, a lot of the games were close. Also keep in mind that e played the top three teams. Next time we will fare better against Farnsworth.

Be at Matthews Center (Seward Montessori) in Mpls at 9:00 We'll be done by 12:30.
We'll play against Seward, Capitol Hill, and Breck

Our next match will be Feb 28 at First Covenant on Arcade in St. Paul and we'll play Farnsworth A, Farnsworth B and my guess is Farnsworth B again in the last round. Free.

March 7 Jr High Championships at Burnsville Metcalf - SCA - all welcome. Cost about $20

March 14-15 K-6 Championships Good time for 5th and 6th graders to try their hand. Cost about $35
