Sat Feb 6 Zachary Lane Elem., Plymouth - Low priority but the last chance to participate in a tournament before the various statewide chamionships
Sat Feb 20 Metcalf Jr High, Burnsville Grade Level Championships (we need 3 per grade) I think our best team would be:
7th grade with Aiden, and Oscar and Isaiah playing up
6th grade with Oscar and Isaiah, and Miles playing up a grade.
5th grade with Miles, Jacob and Shakti
Sat Mar 12 Metcalf Jr High, Jr High Championships (we need 4) I'd like our top 6 at this tournament - Aiden, Oscar, Isaiah, Miles, Jack S and Jay
Sat April 9-10 Breck, Golden Valley, Elementary Championships (need 4 in grades 5-6)
Oscar, Isaiah, Miles, and Lucius, Jacob or Jack
Our lessons on discovered attacks have not gone well. Checking my lesson plans I see this was the third lesson on this. But you haven't caught on yet to the power of this tactic. Scores from Wed - 8,8,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 out of a possible 12. We'll have to do this again until you catch on to the most powerful weapon of chess after I have time to create a new worksheet.
