State Championships

If you see this announcement, let your parent know you'll need transportation on Mar 23rd and 24th.

Just an update - On March 23-24 the State Chess Championships will take place for all ages.
Grades K-6 will be under the auspices of SCA at Minnehaha Academy North Campus. This is the first time in several years that SCA's tournament will be officially the state championship for teams. The top 16 will qualify for the Tournament of Champions and the winner of that tournament will be the individual state champion. Those 6th grade and under will go to Minnehaha for that tournament. I will be at Minnehaha.

Also on March 23-24, the Junior High and High School team and individual championships will take place at the Riverfront Crowne Plaza Hotel on Wabasha and Kellogg in St. Paul. We should be able to field a good team for this one - we need 4 players (I think)
