Ratings after March 28 with CORRECTION

One more huge team tournament for those of you in grades 5 & 6 April 21-22 at Breck!

We need some of those 5th and 6th graders who used to come to chess club to come back in these last 4 weeks before the big Statewide tournament. Wee need at least 4 players for a team. So thomas, Andrew, and Frank - recruit some others in 5th and 6th grade.

Here's my optimistic best hope for statewide: Thomas 5 wins, Frank, Andrew and Ben Ellison 4 points. That's a total of 21 points. (CORRECTION - I can't add - 17 points!) 17 is in trophy contention - last year 5th place. 10th place was 15.5 and there are 4 regional trophies beyond that. If we finish as high as 5th place the top 4 from that team receive medals also.

In preparation, I will run a chess tournament during chess club with medals and ribbons for top performers beginning right after spring break.
